For this Project I chose to render a kitchen in Blender. The intention for this project was to create a realistic render for a position as a VFX artist for Corridor Digital. Obviously, this wasn’t accomplished, and I let them know in my Application Email that although I enjoy the process and results from creating a 3D Render, I have a lot of work ahead of me to make my works good enough for a studio Job.
This wasn’t as realistic as I wanted it to be, but I still like how it came out and the multiple methods I used to create this render. For the view of the outside, I used a 360 Image of a field by my local airport using a Ricoh Camera. I ended up using multiple 3D normal maps from images I took and processed to create more realistic textures. This project involved a lot of work figuring out what needed to be in the scene, and how to make it look more realistic. I used PolyCam to create some 3D models of stuff on top of the counterspace I think I did well for the most part, what are your thoughts?
